Drawing and Painting Into Pattern: Level 1
During this 8-week course, students acquire the knowledge to understand how to create original print designs for your design portfolio and to generate hand-drawn contemporary motifs, drawings, and paintings to utilize in your patterns
Fashion Illustration
During this 8 week illustration course, students focus on designing and illustrating a capsule collection of six couture or ready-to-wear outfits.
Fashion Design: Capsule Collection
During this 8 week fashion design course, students invent a capsule collection of five outfits.
Portfolio Preparation
During this 8 week portfolio preparation course, students will customize, create and present an entry-level fashion portfolio.
Adobe Illustrator 101
During this 8 week Adobe Illustrator 101 course, students learn how to bring their designs to life through the art of digital imagery.
During this eight-week beginner quilting course, students are taught how to create a 25 quilt blocks and how to design your own lap size quilt.

With our selection of professional sewing courses, better your skills, designs and knowledge of machines by learning an array of industry-focused techniques. Beginner, intermediate and advanced courses are available. Beginner  During this eight-week beginner course, students are taught to construct garments by learning basic sewing stitches and seam finishing techniques. Intermediate  During this 8 week intermediate course, students learn additional techniques as well as how to draft and sew their very own design. Advanced  During this 8 week advanced course, students learn advanced techniques, how to drape a pattern, and how to create a garment by draping their design first.

Beginner During this 8 week beginner course, students acquire the knowledge to understand the functions such as digitizing and plotting (printing) as well as pattern manipulation and marker making. Launch Your Line
Take your fashion business to the next level with our Launch Your Line courses. Taught by fashion industry expert and business guru, Liza Deyrmenjian. In this comprehensive course, students learn the secrets and step-by-step tactics needed to take a brand from samples to stockists. From sourcing fabrics, working with contractors and agents, to planning a trade show, this course effectively introduces students to what is required to successfully launch a fashion business. In this 6 week course, students will learn about: Week 1:
  • The linear process of starting a fashion line
  • Mood boards/story boards
  • Specs/flats/what you need to go from idea to proto-type
  • Samples and patterns and their cost
  • Fabric sourcing, how to match production fabric to sample fabric
