Beginner Pattern Making
Students learn all about beginner pattern making including how to create basic bodice, skirt and pant blocks, understand how to make a pattern from scratch, and create a pattern from their own design.
Intermediate Pattern Making
Students learn to draft classic details and styles, and to create an intermediate-level pattern design of their very own. Students will sew a prototype of their design and make necessary revisions to the pattern.
Product Development, Production & Sourcing
During this 8 week Product Development course, students will gain insight into the world of product development and understand what it takes to bring product to life
Advanced Pattern Making
Students learn to draft linings, draft an advanced innovative garment component, and create a pattern for an advanced-level design of their very own.
Fashion Vocabulary Bridge
During this 12 week fashion vocabulary course, students learn to build their personal fashion vocabulary through lessons, assignments and interactions with their peers.
Students acquire knowledge in specific draping techniques and learn how to drape basic blocks. Students also successfully drape their own designs, create a paper pattern from it, and construct a first prototype.
Students acquire knowledge in intermediate draping techniques and learn how to drape their own collection. Students successfully drape their own designs, create a paper pattern from it, and construct a final look.
